Abstract:
All varieties of inflammatory rheumatoid arthritis may involve the cervical spine. After progressive destruction and narrowing of the intervertebral disks, spondylitis and spondylodiscitis results in subluxation and fusion of vertebral bodies and square anterior corners. These varieties of vertebral body involvements are described.
