Severe Maxillary Protrusion Treated with Surgically Assisted Rapid Maxillary Expansion

Surgically assisted rapid maxillary expansion (SARME) effectively treated severe maxillary protrusion and crowding. Combining SARME with the Anchor-Lock system achieved stable long-term results with minimal relapse.

- The technique may offer a stable solution, potentially avoiding relapse even without complete bone healing before subsequent orthodontic movements.
