Exercise leads to better sleep in children with inflammatory bowel disease

  • A 6-month home-based resistance training program significantly reduced impaired sleep quality in pediatric IBD patients in remission.
  • While HRQoL improvements did not reach statistical significance, correlations suggest a link between increased physical activity and better HRQoL and sleep outcomes.
