Summary

Accelerated corneal crosslinking (ACXL) with different riboflavin formulations shows comparable 1-year outcomes for progressive keratoconus. Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC)-based riboflavin resulted in deep demarcation lines similar to conventional CXL, while dextran-based riboflavin produced shallower lines.
