A pilot study of monocytes in relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis: Correlation with disease activity

Monocyte subsets (classical, intermediate, and non-classical) are elevated in Egyptian relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS) patients, regardless of disease activity. Non-classical monocytes correlate with MRI-detected disease activity, suggesting a role in MS pathology.
