Digitalization, robotization, and artificial intelligence are transforming pharmacy operations.
There is a need for strategic planning to guide the future of hospital pharmacy services.

Purpose of the Study:

To identify and define key challenges facing hospital pharmacy practice by 2030.
To provide a strategic roadmap for the advancement of hospital pharmacy.
To align with the philosophy of the 2020 "Towards the future, safely" initiative.

Main Methods:

Strategic planning involving the identification of twenty challenges.
Development of objectives, standards, tools, and resources for each challenge.
Focus on clinical activities, transversal aspects, training, research, and organizational integration.

Main Results:

Twenty challenges have been identified and detailed across various areas of hospital pharmacy.
Specific objectives, standards, tools, and resources are defined for each challenge.
Tools for monitoring implementation and impact are planned.

Conclusions:

The identified challenges and strategic roadmap will guide hospital pharmacy towards 2030.
Implementation of these strategies will enhance the profession, patient care, and environmental sustainability.
