Pericoronary adipose tissue (PCAT) attenuation measured by coronary computed tomography angiography (CCTA) did not predict major adverse cardiac events (MACE) in patients with suspected coronary artery disease over a 9.5-year follow-up.

Conclusions:
- PCAT attenuation, as measured by CCTA, is not a significant predictor of long-term MACE in patients with clinically suspected CAD.
- These findings suggest that PCAT attenuation may not be a reliable biomarker for predicting future cardiac events in this population.
