Summary

Mice lacking T cell immunoreceptor with immunoglobulin and ITIM domain (TIGIT) showed reduced Candida albicans fungal growth and improved survival. TIGIT interacts with fungal proteins ALS6, ALS7, and ALS9, impacting host defense against candidiasis.
