Optimizing the fucoidan extraction using Box-Behnken Design and its potential bioactivity

This study optimized fucoidan extraction from brown seaweed, yielding the highest amount from Padina pavonica. Fucoidan demonstrated significant antioxidant, anticancer, and antimicrobial properties, particularly from Dictyota dichotoma.
