Insulin autoimmune syndrome (IAS) is a rare condition. Two patients developed IAS from alpha-lipoic acid (ALA) in supplements, experiencing hypoglycemia. Treatment involved diet and steroids to normalize blood glucose and reduce insulin autoantibodies.
