Proliferative diabetic retinopathy can cause exudative changes mimicking central serous chorioretinopathy (CSCR) after pan retinal photocoagulation (PRP). These changes, including serous retinal detachment (SRD) and pigment epithelial detachments (PEDs), typically resolve without intervention.
