Interpregnancy interval and adverse perinatal outcomes: A within-individual comparative method.

Short interpregnancy intervals (IPIs) did not increase risks for preterm birth, small-for-gestational-age, low birthweight, or NICU admission. However, longer IPIs of 24 months or more were linked to higher odds of low birthweight.
