Histological Chorioamnionitis - Experience from a Tertiary Care Center.

Histological chorioamnionitis, an intra-amniotic infection, was predominantly mild (stage 1). Bacterial infections, particularly Streptococcus agalactiae, were the most common cause, often involving the umbilical cord.

- To investigate the characteristics of all histological chorioamnionitis cases over a five-year period.
- To analyze the prevalence and patterns of inflammation in chorioamnionitis.
