Echo-planar DWI variants: A comparative study in vertebral marrow pathology

Summary
Readout-segmented echo-planar imaging (rs-EPI) offers improved image quality for vertebral column MRI compared to single-shot EPI (ss-EPI). However, rs-EPI did not reliably differentiate between malignant and benign vertebral bone marrow pathologies.
