Preoperative hydronephrosis in muscle invasive bladder cancer (MIBC) patients undergoing robot-assisted radical cystectomy (RARC) is linked to poorer survival outcomes. This finding suggests hydronephrosis impacts prognosis beyond tumor stage and warrants consideration in patient selection.
