Pathogen producing aflatoxin in contaminated sandwich: Identification and preservation

This study identified Aspergillus flavus as the primary fungal source of aflatoxins in contaminated sandwiches. An ethanol spray effectively inhibited fungal growth, extending sandwich preservation significantly.
