Acute symptomatic seizures in patients with recurrent ischemic stroke: A multicentric study

Recurrent stroke patients do not face a higher risk of acute symptomatic seizures during hospitalization compared to first-time stroke patients. This study found similar seizure rates, suggesting stroke recurrence does not independently increase seizure risk.
