Photon-counting detector CT (PCD-CT) significantly enhances head CT angiography (CTA) image quality and diagnostic confidence compared to energy-integrating detector CT (EID-CT). Ultra-high-resolution (UHR) PCD-CT with deep learning denoising offers the greatest improvement.
