Quantitative CT analysis of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and correlation with lung function study

Quantitative CT analysis accurately diagnoses Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) and assesses lung function. Fibrotic area percentage (F%) is a key indicator, and aortic-sternal distance (ASD) may signal disease progression.

- A decreasing ASD may serve as an indicator of IPF disease progression.
