Oxidation-induced coupling reactions of bi(metallacycloprop-1-ene) complexes

This study demonstrates the first reported carbene ligand coupling for biscarbene complexes. Oxidation induces coupling of bi(metallacycloprop-1-ene) complexes to form unique η4-butadiene complexes.
