Longitudinal associations between depressive symptoms and cell deformability: do glucocorticoids play a role?

Depression severity predicts increased immune cell deformability over one year. However, accumulated hair glucocorticoids did not mediate this link, suggesting other mechanisms are involved in depressive disorders.
