Pattern of ENT Diseases in Children: A Peripheral Military Hospital Based Study

Purpose of the Study:

• To determine the hospital-based prevalence of pediatric ENT disorders.
• To identify the most common ENT conditions affecting children aged 0-14 years in a military hospital setting in Bangladesh.

• An observational study was conducted at the ENT Outpatient Department of CMH Momenshahi from April 2017 to March 2020.
• Data were collected from 4612 children aged 0-14 years, encompassing all types of ENT disorders.
• Prevalence rates were analyzed based on age, sex, and specific diagnoses.

• Throat-related disorders (40.7%) were the most common, followed by ear disorders (34.8%).

Conclusions:
