Summary

This systematic review found no significant differences in mortality or complications between open thoracotomy, video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS), and robotic-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (RATS) for lung segmentectomy. Further research is needed to clarify the long-term benefits of RATS.
