Summary

Hypertrophic osteoarthropathy (HOA) can mimic rheumatoid arthritis in cancer patients. Recognizing HOA in inflammatory arthritis cases, especially with positive rheumatoid arthritis antibodies, is crucial for timely diagnosis and treatment of the underlying malignancy.
