Glycoprotein nonmetastatic melanoma protein B (Gpnmb) enhances lymphatic endothelial cell migration and promotes lymphangiogenesis by upregulating pro-autophagic genes. This study reveals Gpnmb as a novel positive regulator of lymphatic vessel formation.
