Summary

Microplastics (MPs) were detected in Philippine staple foods like salt, sugar, fish sauce, and rice. Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) was prevalent in salt, while polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and polypropylene (PP) were found in other products.
