Correlation Between Anxiety, Depression and Hemodynamic Changes in Office-Based Laryngeal Surgery

This study found significant hemodynamic changes during office-based laryngeal surgery (OBLS), including increased blood pressure and heart rate. However, neither anxiety nor depression correlated with these vital sign alterations in patients undergoing OBLS.

- Anxiety and depression do not appear to correlate with these observed hemodynamic alterations during OBLS.
- Further research is warranted to elucidate the causes of hemodynamic instability in OBLS.
