Reconstruction of the columella with bilateral nasolabial flaps
Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
|January 1, 1986
Abstract:
Nasolabial flaps are beneficial in the reconstruction of total defects of the columella. Two nasolabial flaps were used in a one-stage reconstruction of the columella. Both flaps were simultaneously transposed as subcutaneous pedicle flaps and set up in a sandwich shape. We could reconstruct a well-shaped and balanced columella.
