Inference-based cognitive behavioral therapy (I-CBT) shows similar effectiveness to cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) but is better tolerated. Further research is needed to confirm I-CBT non-inferiority for OCD symptom severity.
