Risk of Opioid Overdose Associated with Concomitant Use of Methadone and Statins

Concomitant use of methadone with certain statins (simvastatin, atorvastatin, lovastatin) does not increase opioid overdose risk. This study found no association between these drug combinations and overdose events.
