Tofacitinib for child-onset systemic lupus erythematosus

Tofacitinib may benefit some children with refractory systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), potentially reducing their need for glucocorticoids. However, not all patients responded to this Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitor treatment.
