Summary

Interleukin-6 (IL-6) signaling abnormalities, including a high soluble IL-6 receptor (sIL-6R) to soluble glycoprotein 130 (sgp130) ratio, are linked to prostate cancer development. This imbalance in IL-6 signaling promotes prostate malignancy.
