Purpose of the Study:

  • To analyze the diagnostic findings and treatment strategies employed for accessory breast tissue.
  • To assess the postoperative complications following surgical excision of accessory breast tissue.

Main Methods:

  • A cross-sectional study involving 52 women diagnosed with accessory breast tissue was conducted.
  • Data collection spanned from January 2019 to October 2023 at the Surgery Outpatient Department in Nagpur.
  • Evaluation included patient-reported symptoms, clinical examination findings, imaging (sonography), surgical treatment, and histopathological analysis.
