Membrane-Free Water Electrolysis for Hydrogen Generation with Low Cost

This study introduces a novel membrane-free water electrolysis system using a Cu-based catalyst that replaces oxygen evolution with urea oxidation. This innovation significantly lowers green hydrogen production costs and enhances safety by preventing gas mixing.
