    Allergic contact dermatitis from occupational gloves is common, particularly rubber gloves. Plastic gloves are rarely the cause, suggesting they are a safer alternative for preventing glove-related skin allergies.

    Background:

    • Occupational dermatoses are a significant concern in various industries.
    • Allergic contact dermatitis (ACD) is a common form of occupational skin disease.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To analyze the incidence and characteristics of allergic occupational glove dermatoses.
    • To compare the prevalence of allergies to rubber versus plastic gloves.
