Purpose of the Study:

  • To determine the incidence and characteristics of eccentric macular holes (EMHs) following macular surgery with internal limiting membrane (ILM) peeling.

  • Retrospective case series of 125 patients undergoing macular surgery.
  • 14 eyes of 14 patients who developed EMHs after pars plana vitrectomy with ILM peeling were analyzed.
