Summary

The name Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is misleading, as it is a systemic endocrine and metabolic disorder, not just a gynecological one. Renaming PCOS could improve patient understanding, reduce stigma, and enhance disease management by reflecting its broader health impacts.
