Abstract:
The adaptability of plants to given environmental conditions is achieved through the regulation of various genes. The functional regulation of genes depends on precise transcriptional and translational controls that, at the end, determine the expression of the translated products (proteins). Here, I describe the immunoblotting method for the detection of proteins expressed in rice leaves. This method includes protein extraction, protein separation, electroblotting, and immune detection.
