Abstract:
A VO2@V2C (VO@VCM) anode material is prepared for aqueous ammonium ion batteries (AmIBs) by one-step in situ oxidation of a 2D V2C MXene. The VO@VCM delivers a high capacity of 226 mA h g-1, superior rate performance, and long cycling stability due to the synergistic effect of the highly conductive MXene and highly active VO2.
