Association Between Chemotherapy-Induced Peripheral Neuropathy and Low Anterior Resection Syndrome

Chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) is linked to developing low anterior resection syndrome (LARS) after rectal cancer surgery. This suggests a connection between nerve damage from chemotherapy and bowel dysfunction post-surgery.
