  • To evaluate the predictability of MDT recommendations in surgical oncology.
  • To determine the extent to which patient management plans change post-MDT discussion.
  • To ascertain the implementation rate of MDT recommendations.

  • A cohort study audited MDT meetings for upper gastrointestinal and colorectal surgical units.
  • Pre-MDT management plans were compared to formal recommendations for concordance and change.
