Innovative multidisciplinary tool for screening bowel and bladder symptoms in multiple sclerosis

A new questionnaire, the Bowel and Bladder Symptoms Screening in Multiple Sclerosis (BBSS-MS), was developed to help screen for bowel and bladder issues in people with Multiple Sclerosis (PwMS). This tool aids in early detection and management, improving quality of life.

Conclusions:
- The BBSS-MS is the first self-reported hybrid questionnaire designed for screening bowel and bladder symptoms in the Italian MS population.
- This questionnaire can facilitate early identification and management of these debilitating symptoms.
