Background:

Purpose of the Study:

  • To assess the efficacy of a community-based structured exercise program versus usual care for improving physical, functional, and psychological outcomes in ambulatory individuals with SCI.

  • A randomized controlled trial was conducted involving 57 ambulatory participants with chronic SCI.

  • These findings support the integration of such programs into SCI rehabilitation to improve physical function.
