Summary

The glass fiber-reinforced composite bur (GFCB) method provides the smoothest enamel surface after orthodontic adhesive removal, though it takes longer. The carbide bur with titanium nitride surface treatment and fine carbide bur (CBCB) method offers a faster alternative with acceptable enamel roughness.
