Continuous focus field strength adjustment in a scattered field based on the third-order correlation of light fields
Abstract:
A scheme for adjusting focus field strength in a scattered field is reported. By using the third-order correlation of light field (TCLF), we can obtain focal points at different positions in the scattered field. By superimposing the incident patterns (TCLF-patterns) corresponding to these focal points with suitable weights, the ratio of the field strength of the focal points can be adjusted. If the resolution of the incident modulation is high enough, this ratio will be strictly proportional to the weights assigned to the TCLF-pattern in superposition. This research potentially broadens the scope of scattering field control research.
