[Robotic-assisted Esophagectomy for Esophageal Cancer]

We described basic procedures and tips for robot-assisted esophagectomy. While it is important to become familiar with robotics technology, understand that it is only one of the tools. Most importantly, we believe that a thorough knowledge of basic surgical techniques will enable us to perform high-level surgery. Postoperative complications significantly decrease quality of life and have a negative impact on survival. We intend to consider operations aiming for zero complications.
