Background:

Nephrogenic adenoma is a rare, benign bladder lesion.
It typically arises as an epithelial response to chronic irritation, infection, or trauma.
While more common in adults, it has been reported in children following surgery or inflammation.

Observation:

This report details two pediatric cases of nephrogenic adenoma.
One child presented with a bladder mass obstructing the ureter.
The second case was discovered incidentally during vesicovaginal fistula repair.

Findings:

Nephrogenic adenoma in children can manifest as a significant bladder mass.
The lesion histologically resembles low-grade transitional cell carcinoma.
Conservative treatment, including transurethral resection and antibiotics, proved successful.

Implications:

Nephrogenic adenoma in children, though rare, represents a metaplastic response to urothelial injury.
Early diagnosis and conservative management are crucial for favorable outcomes.
Further research into the specific triggers and long-term implications in pediatric patients is warranted.
