Background:

Syringomas are benign adnexal tumors originating from sweat ducts.
Familial occurrence suggests a genetic predisposition.
Vulvar syringomas are uncommon and can be mistaken for other conditions.

Purpose of the Study:

To report a case of familial syringomas.
To highlight the importance of accurate diagnosis of vulvar syringomas.
To differentiate syringomas from sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

Main Methods:

Clinical presentation of a 37-year-old female with vulvar, facial, and truncal lesions.
Family history of similar periorbital lesions.
Differential diagnosis considerations for vulvar lesions.

Main Results:

Diagnosis of familial syringomas confirmed.
Potential for misdiagnosis as warts or molluscum contagiosum identified.
Risk of unnecessary psychological distress due to misdiagnosis.
