    Summary

    Chylothorax, a rare condition causing respiratory distress, was successfully treated with thoracic drainage and a low-fat diet. However, an unexpected death revealed a blastomycotic granuloma as the underlying cause, highlighting blastomycosis as a rare cause of chylothorax.
