Transglutaminase 2 regulates endothelial cell calcification via IL-6-mediated autophagy

Transglutaminase 2 (TG2) promotes endothelial cell calcification by activating NF-κB and IL-6 signaling, which suppresses autophagy. This TG2-mediated pathway offers new insights into atherosclerosis and vascular calcification.
